Can't sign in to Google Play

Issue Description:

  • While trying to sign in to Google Play to back up or recover a game, players are receiving and error message.

  • Reloading the game, restarting the device and clearing the cache will not clear the error message.

Status:

  • Under investigation

Resolution: 

  • Unfortunately there is nothing a player can do to clear this error, but the team is working on a fix!
  • In the meantime, if a player is in this situation and wants to transfer their game, they will need to contact support by clicking either the yellow 'Submit a request' button at the top of this webpage, or the yellow 'Submit a ticket' at the bottom of this webpage.
  • Please be sure to include the User ID of the old device as well as the new device
    • If you no longer have your old device, please contact Support and let them know you do not have your old device and they provide alternative options.
